My model of counseling is Biblically centered, solution focused and designed to meet your needs. Appointments are for 50 minutes and are driven by your concerns and by helping you move forward with whatever issues you are facing. Often there will be optional homework which is for your benefit in applying the strategies and principles we discuss in our meeting. Morning, afternoon and evening appointments are availible.
I am not licensed by the state because my ministry is through the church, not through an agency. What I provide is Biblical counsel, discipleship, mentoring and advice as well as a safe place to be heard and understood.
I submit to the American Association of Christian Counselors' Code of Ethics including their understanding of confidentiality.

I provide counseling for engaged and married couples, parents, teens and singles. All counseling is confidential within the boudaries of the law and teenagers must have parental consent for counseling. My counseling is all Biblically based while recognizing value from psychological insights. You do not need to be a Christian to come for an appointment and I will gladly work with you regardless of your faith. I do believe that many issues are spiritual ones and that the Bible addresses those issue most effectively.
Fees: For a 50 minute session, I ask that you pay the equivalent of your insurance co-pay for similar services, usually $30-$50 per person. Couples are asked to pay $45-$75, the equivalent of 1.5 x single person copay. Those in ministry or the military may ask for a reduced rate. All payments must be made at the time of service. Payments go directly to Christ the King Moravian church for processing. I do not accept insurance and because I am not licensed by a state board, you cannot submit your expenses to insurance.
